Requirements
With the following requirements, you can be admitted:
Secondary school leaving certificate (after 10th grade)
AND
A successfully completed, at least two-year relevant vocational training (e.g., fulltime vocational school for childcare or social assistance
OR
A successfully completed, at least two-year vocational training and a minimum of 600 hours of practical experience in social pedagogical institutions
OR
Without vocational training, at least four years of relevant professional experience with a recognized provider of child and youth welfare
OR
Successful completion of a two-year specialized upper-secondary school in the field of social services
Successful completion of a specialized upper-secondary school in any other specialization and one year of practical experience
General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) and one year of practical experience in a social pedagogical institution
AND
Employment contract with a recognized provider of child and youth welfare (minimum of 19.5 hours/week)
Tuition fees
Tuition fees: €120 per month
One-time enrollment fee: €50
*In recent years, the state of Saxony-Anhalt has decided on tuition fee exemption. Continuation for the upcoming school year is possible but not yet confirmed.
